Cathi Bruni paints with an extraordinary sense of luminescent color and texture. Each work conveys a mysterious quality and forces the viewer to ask questions. Her style is purely original. Her technique - a fierce mixture of pouring, painting, tilting and mixing mediums combines everything she has done artistically since she began painting at age 15.

Cathi's creativity flows from the veins of her ancestors. Her beloved grandmother was a concert pianist and teacher with a degree from the Mendelssohn Conservatory of Music in Chicago; her mother was a pianist; her father a trumpet player and jazz orchestra leader. She studied classical piano for nine years and dancing for 13 years. But it is her passion for art that has compelled her to carry on her family's legacy through her paintings.
